Can you sell digital products on TikTok Shop?

Short answer: generally no. TikTok Shop is built for physical products — inventory, shipping, returns — and its seller policies prohibit most digital goods and services in most regions. If you've tried to list a preset pack or an ebook and hit a wall, that's the wall.

The good news: the route creators actually use is simpler, keeps more margin, and TikTok takes no cut of it at all.

The route that works: bio link → storefront

  1. Set up a storefront that handles checkout and file delivery — yo.ink/you is free and takes about two minutes per product.
  2. Put the link in your bio. Here's how, including the workaround if you're under 1,000 followers.
  3. Make the product the payoff of your content. Show the result it creates, then send people to the link — spoken out loud, and pinned in a comment.

Why this beats TikTok Shop even where digital were allowed

  • No marketplace commission. The sale happens on your storefront; TikTok isn't in the money path.
  • You keep the customer. Email capture at checkout builds a list you own — the thing that survives an algorithm change.
  • Order value is yours to grow. Bumps and one-click upsells raise a $24 order to $31; marketplaces don't give you those levers.

What about TikTok's own link features?

The bio website field is the reliable one. Link stickers and other placements come and go by region and account type — build on the bio link, treat anything extra as a bonus.
