Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Yoink — the websites yo.ink and app.yo.ink (previously yoink.bio and app.yoink.bio) and related services (the "Service") — operated by Outpost Apps Pte. Ltd., 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422 ("Outpost Apps", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Yoink lets creators build a storefront page, sell digital products, bookings and tips, and manage orders and audience data. We may add, change or remove features over time. Free tools on yo.ink (calculators, generators) are provided as-is for general information and carry no warranty as to accuracy.
3. Accounts and handles
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to sell through the Service.
- Handles (yo.ink/you) are allocated first-come, first-served. We may reclaim handles that are inactive, infringe trademarks, impersonate others, or are reserved by us, acting reasonably.
4. Creator content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content and products you sell. You grant us the licence needed to host, display and deliver them through the Service. You are solely responsible for your products — their legality, quality, delivery and any claims you make about them. You must not use the Service to sell or distribute:
- anything illegal, infringing, counterfeit or deceptive (including pyramid or get-rich-quick schemes);
- adult or sexually explicit content of any kind, whether hosted on your store or reached through any link, button or product on it. A link that leads to adult content on any other platform or site is treated the same as hosting that content here;
- hateful, exploitative or sexually explicit material involving minors under any circumstances, or content that violates platform policies of the services you link from;
- malware, stolen data, or goods and services prohibited by our payment processors' rules (including Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses list);
- regulated goods (weapons, drugs, gambling, financial products) without required licences — and in most cases not at all.
We may remove content, suspend accounts or shut down stores, pages and links that violate this section, at our discretion and without prior notice.
5. Fees and payments
- Free plan: no subscription; a platform fee of 3% of each sale.
- Pro plan: a monthly subscription (currently US$5 as early pricing, locked to early accounts for as long as they keep the plan; US$19 once early pricing ends) with a 0% platform fee.
- Payment processing is provided by Stripe and subject to Stripe's own fees and terms; payouts go to your connected Stripe account. We do not hold your funds.
- Fees and plan pricing may change with reasonable notice; changes do not apply retroactively to completed sales.
6. Buyers, refunds and taxes
Sales are contracts between the creator and the buyer. Creators set their own refund policies and are responsible for honouring them and for complying with consumer-protection law in the markets they sell to. Creators are responsible for their own taxes, including any sales tax, GST or VAT obligations arising from their sales.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its design and software are owned by Outpost Apps and its licensors. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at the address below with details.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk for us, other users or payment partners, or where required by law. On termination your storefront ceases to be available; completed transaction records are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any level of sales or earnings.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outpost Apps shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify Outpost Apps against claims arising from your content, your products, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be signposted on this page with an updated date; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
