Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Yoink ("Yoink", "we", "us") is a creator storefront platform operated by Outpost Apps Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you use yo.ink, app.yo.ink (previously yoink.bio and app.yoink.bio) and related services (together, the "Service"). We process personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, chosen handle, and a cryptographically hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Store content: the products, descriptions, images, links, prices and page content you create in your store.
• Customer and order data: when you sell through the Service, we process your buyers' order details (items, amounts, email addresses provided at checkout) on your behalf so we can display orders, deliver products and compute your analytics.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store full card numbers; we receive transaction metadata (amounts, fees, payout status).
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, time zone, approximate (country-level) location, and interactions with the Service, collected to keep the Service secure and to understand aggregate usage.
• Support communications: your name, email and message content when you contact us.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate and improve the Service.
• To process transactions and deliver products buyers purchase from creators.
• To show creators analytics about their own stores.
• To secure the Service, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to function — for example, keeping you signed in to your dashboard. Public storefronts and the yo.ink website do not use advertising cookies. Creators may add their own analytics pixels (such as Meta or TikTok pixels) to their storefronts; those are governed by the creator's own privacy practices and the pixel provider's policies.

5. How we share information

• Stripe — payment processing and payouts to creators.
• Cloud infrastructure providers (including Google Cloud and Cloudflare) — hosting, content delivery and security.
• Anthropic — AI processing for the optional store-setup assistant, covering only the public profiles and pages you submit to it (see "AI features" below); never Google user data.
• Service providers assisting with support and communications, bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.

When you buy from a creator's store, the creator receives the order information needed to fulfil your purchase. Creators are responsible for their own handling of buyer data outside the Service.

6. Google user data

If you connect your Google Calendar to Yoink's booking feature, we access your calendar through Google's Calendar API with the "calendar.events" permission. We use that access only to:

• read when you are busy so booked slots are never double-sold (we read event times and availability status, not the contents of your events);
• create, update and delete the calendar events for appointments booked through your store;
• show the email address of the connected calendar in your settings.

Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with or processed by any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning service, and never used to create, train or improve AI/ML models. Yoink's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your dashboard settings or from your Google Account permissions.

7. AI features

Our optional store-setup assistant drafts your storefront from the public social profiles and web pages you explicitly submit. To do this, that content is processed by Anthropic (Claude, via Anthropic's commercial API); under Anthropic's commercial terms it is not used to train their models. This feature never receives Google user data.

8. Data retention

Account and store data are retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, transaction records). Support correspondence may be retained for reference.

9. International transfers

We operate globally; data may be processed in countries other than your own, including Singapore and the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, update, port, restrict or object to the processing of, or delete your personal data. EEA/UK residents have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Singapore residents have access and correction rights under the PDPA. 11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords.

12. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be signposted on this page with an updated date above.
